The Revenue Model
Blackjack is a gaming company in the State of Illinois that offers a wide range of gaming equipment. Our company was established in 2016 and is locally owned and operated. We carry the state license and serve clients in Illinois. We also work towards increasing revenue at our locations.
Earnings
Net Terminal Income (NTI) is the money put into a VGT minus the player's credits. The State gets 29% of the NTI generated from each licensed VGT, of which 5% goes to the local municipality. Of the remaining 72% of NTI, Scientific Games, a company, receives 0.8513% as compensation for supporting the Central Communications System (CCS), which all VGTs relate to. The remainder is distributed equally between the Terminal Operator, who owns/leases and places the VGTs in locations, and the Licensed Location.
Revenue Generation
The establishment owner receives 33% of the NTI. The 2019 average owner share of NTI was over $70,000 per year. That means that you can generate over $6,000 in additional monthly revenue just by placing video gaming machines in your establishment.
A Profitable Business
Video gaming is profitable for everyone. It promises to generate much-needed funds for capital improvement projects in Illinois. The industry estimates the potential annual revenue in Illinois to be $1 billion, with $300 million of that net going to the State and $350 million going to licensed establishments.
Pay Out Details
In compliance with Illinois law, 35% of the net profit goes to the establishment. Another 35% goes to the operator. The state receives 25%, and the city/village receives 5%. This means the profit, after taxes, is split 50/50 between the establishment and the VGT operator.
